Chances for NYU Stern EA?

<p>High school WGPA: 3.4 (I know its bad) 9th grade -3.147 10th grade -3.14 11th grade- 3.74
SAT I : 2350 (800 W 800 M 750 CR)
SAT II : Math II - 800 Physics - 750
ACT: 34
Captain of the Debate team at his school (Ranked in the top ten debaters in the State)
I'v been playing the violin for 8 years. I performed in Belgium and France. Also performed in the Lincoln Center
Volunteers at Nursing Home: 150 hours +
Volunteers at Hospital: 100 hours +
I am expecting to have great recommendations from my teachers and a recommendation from a congressman.
I also am currently involved in a research project with a professor at a University. (I will probably get a recommendation from him as well)

<p>im a senior and im planning to apply to stern too. though your gpa is a bit of a concern, it does show improvement which is important. however the rest of your resume is impressive to say the least. your standarized test scores are excellent and the time spent internationally will definately give you points. however, something to note is that , from what i’ve been told at least, nyu usually only reads two recommendations from teachers. Although the other recommendations look great, they might not be necessarily read to their full extent. confirm this with someone else. hope this helped and good luck!</p>
