Chances for out of state at UCs

<p>Gpa: 3.7 UW (average of 89-90 at my school)
SAT: 2150 (780M 670CR 700W)
Rank: top 12 percent in class of 600
note: have gotten A's in almost all real classes (math science history english) but B's in electives (gym, communication journalism, cooking, etc.)</p>

<p>EC:
started a service club and nonprofit organization at my school called Free of Famine Fund that should raise 10,000 plus dollars over the next year
all intramural sports offered
worked as little league umpire
2 years service club
chess team 3 years</p>

<p>Awards:
6 on AIME junior year (best in school of 2400)
106.5 AMC 12 junior year
20th in state, best in school as a junior in Pennsylvania Math League (competition among all schools in state for students fr-sr)
Won two local writing contests on Americanism and Peace
have won or placed in many local math contests at local universities(individual and team)
newspaper article about my achievements in PA math league</p>

<p>what are my chances at Michigan, Carnegie Mellon, Washington (Seattle), and most of the UC's: Davis, SD, Irvine, Santa Barbara, maybe LA</p>

<p>ooh yeah i have taken all of the hardest classses offered at my school and continue to next year. All honors and AP up to this point and next year am taking AP Calc BC, AP Physics, Ap Econ, Ap Government, AP (weighted) Humanities, Latin 4</p>

<p>bump pleasse im trying to decide where i can get in because at this point ive heard both extremes that i could get in at all or at none</p>

<p>You should have a good chance at the mid tier UCs, but do keep in mind they are very expensive for OOS students.</p>

<p>do i have a shot at chicago if i write a great essay</p>
