Hi all, I am new to the site and really want to know what my chances are to get into Pitt and what I can do to improve them, I really love the school!

I'm 16 and I've just currently started my junior year and will graduate in the class of 2016.
My current stats right now are as follows:
Freshman GPA: 3.00
Sophomore GPA: 3.2
Junior: I am currently aiming to finish my Junior year with a 3.6 GPA. I am track to meet this goal, just finished the first quarter with a 3.7.

My Freshman year I did not realize the importance of obtaining a high GPA and only started striving for perfectness in all my classes in the second semester of my sophomore year. A positive for me at least in the GPA category is that its an upward trend... I do realize that either way my GPA is not up to par.

This summer I took the SAT and the ACT and scored with an 1850 and then a 27 without any review. Currently enrolled in a Princeton Review Course and private tutor to boost my ACT to a 30 (decided to not focus on the SAT, prefer the ACT)

As stated, Freshman year was my worst academic year with two C+'s. Sophomore year I improved with B's and 1 A and 1 A-.
Freshman and Sophomore year honors classes I took:
Honors French both years (Finished with a C+ freshman year and a B sophomore year)
Honors Global History (Took the AP World History Exam and received a a 4)

My Junior year courses are:
Algebra II
AP Language & Compostion
French 4
AP United States History
Regents Physics (I was enrolled in the AP, but was going to finish with a C for my first quarter, and did not want that to ruin my already delicate GPA. So I dropped into the regents class)
International Business and Psychology (electives)

On my current track, I will end with an A in both APs, an A- in physics, A- in French, B (maybe B-) in Algebra II, and A's in both electives. I do feel like this course load is challenging enough with 2 APs, I did drop from Honors french to regular because foreign language is not a strong suit, but wanted to continue.

My extra-curriculars are:
6 years of clarinet (dropped it as of Junior year to focus on boosting grades)
over 180+ hours of volunteering at local hospital
Varsity Rower (Made Team Captain of my school's Men's Varsity Rowing team coming into this year, which should cover a leadership requirement)
Model UN (with multiple awards)
Row over the summer with a different club
Part of my school's Natural Helper's club
(Not sure if these are enough EC's but I am very involved in the ones I do have, quality over quantity hopefully!)

So with an ACT of a 30, GPA of 3.2-3.3, a well written essay and 2 very well letters of rec and the above listed stats, how am I looking for Pitt? And is there anything I can do to improve my chances? Thank you so much! (Hopefully this is the right thread..)
