Thanks loads!

Bump - Still looking for feedback. Keep in mind, I will chance you if you request it.

You have a good chance everywhere you apply.

You will get accepted from MANY top colleges.

Good luck to you.

Wow, thank you both so much - I hope what you say is true! I’ll definitely let my fellow CCers know how my applications play out.

you’re a very scary applicant. that’s not a bad thing though.

If you get a 34+ on the ACT, you’ll def be accepted by most if not all.

Honestly your chances depend on which pile multiracial kids get thrown into. If you’re counted as white for admissions purposes, Princeton is a low/mid reach (you’re a strong candidate, but not an automatic admit, so figure 40%) but if you’re counted as black you are virtually guaranteed to be accepted (95%+ chance).

I say you’re in.

I received a 33 on my most recent act. Although I was aiming for a 34+, I’m happy with the improvement. How does this impact my chances?

You’ll have no trouble getting in. URM status will factor in big time. That plus your science achievements and tests/grades will pull you though fine. The rest of your extracurriculars are a little weak, I might consider not even putting down a few of your less important ones so you can show some focus and passion in a particular field. Your app and hooks give you a lot of room to custom tailor your it to your preference.

All around, you’ll have no trouble getting in across the board, crapshoot admissions might see you denied to a couple, but you really have no way to tell which ones for sure. Lots of luck.

Care to chance back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1215821-chance-long-shot-top-schools.html</a></p>

I don’t even know what half of the things you have on your resume are, but based on your EC alone, you will probably get in with flying colors.

However, your testing is a bit weak (and yeh I know you’ve already admitted that and are retaking it, which is half the battle itself in my opinion :p) As for retaking the physics SAT subject test, from what I’ve heard, its harder to get an 800 on than the other sciences, say bio and chem, and since you’ve already taken AP bio, you might want to consider taking the bio one as well.

Since you’re probably applying regular decision, I would advise taking the ACT one more time, since I’m pretty sure that you’ll be able to raise it, and perhaps an SAT if you feel up for it, though it’s not necessary.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying that your chances are worse because of your tests. In fact, I’m pretty sure you don’t have to do anything but wait for college app deadlines to come. It’s just the “just in case” parts that you might want to improve, though you are already aware of them. Your resume is so good that I had to write about something…

Please chance back at http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1215711-chance-me-ivy-league-upenn.html</a> If you want that is…

Multiracial / African American is a very solid asset. I think the 33 act doesn’t slow down your overall stats too much.

I say your in very good shape - more than one of your top choices will accept you.

Chance me back? Haha thanks!

You would be extremely competitive even without URM status. In fact, in your case I don’t think it makes that much of a difference. Probably in at >half of the schools you listed. In for Princeton EA.
