What are my chances?

Please tell me my chances!!!!!!!!!!!

Does your school offer a lot of AP classes?

7 or 8 AP's

Probably waitlisted at Best, if your school offered 8 ap courses you should've challenged your self.

More opinions on my chances please

I think you have a chance, not great, but not bad. Your community service is your strong point. Great that you are going to Wake and meeting the rep. You may want to research community service options on campus and be ready to ask a few questions/show interest in 1 or 2. Best of Luck!

I agree with sblogblah.

actually was talking to the coach and admissions and they might change my application to early decision now in order to get the decision quicker........does this better my chances..

ED usually betters your chances.

You wouldn't have to really worry RD if you would have taken more APs.

I assume you know that ED is binding ... you are committed to go to Wake and not consider other schools if you do that.

yea it is my number 1 choice by far.........its where i want to go

Good Luck to you ! I hope it all works out for you as you will be so excited ! Keep us posted on what happens.

thanks.........i definitely will

bump.... I went down to campus and talked with the team, coaches and admissions counselor. The counselor said that if i switched to ed, it really wouldn't make a diff. I talked to the coach and he said that he is in contact with admissions through a liason (dont know how to spell that). I'm more of like a "recruited walk on", but I hope it bides well. I accidentally had my ACT and SAT scores sent (they were terrible). I asked the counselor to disregard the scores, but she hasn't gotten back to me. I want to know if you guys think that I have a shot. O, also I gave in another suppliment essay and had another letter of rec sent. Please rechance

I think going down and showing interest will help. The sending the ACT and SAT by mistake however will really hurt as your scores are below what they would want to see.
I think your chances depend on if you are able to get them to disregard the scores. Hope it all works out for you as you seem very interested in the school!

Best of luck and please keep us posted.
