Again, so far, all A's, except 1 A- in Algebra II (92.9!) My schedule is the most demanding the school offers. I will have taken all of the honors/AP classes offered at my school once I am done.

ECs:
Speech and Debate (Vice Captain Junior year, Captain Senior Year. Numerous awards, including many firsts at statewide tourneys. Been to 5 weeks of debate camp so far. Will be competitive on the national "TOC" circuit. Ive broken at tournaments like the Glenbrooks and New Trier. Went to nats sophomore year, going again this year. Over 1300 NFL points. 2nd at state in Policy Debate, 4th in extemp, 3rd in prose reading. I also taught a debate course at the local middle school. My essays will probably revolve around debate. I also spent 7 weeks at the University of Michigan for debate camp last summer.)
Model United Nations
Math Honor Society (President)
National Honor Society
Academic Challenge (Regional, televised, brain bowl competition. We were champions this year)
Tennis
Employed at School's Student Tutor Center

Awards:
National Merit Semifinalist (projected)
NFL Academic All-American
Again, over 30 specific debate awards

Recs:
Should be above average. One is from my AP Comp teacher, who gave me student of the year and constantly encouraged me to publish my writing. The other is from my AP Gov teacher and I was a pretty strong/active student in his class. Plus, government is just kinda my thing.

I am also applying to:
Harvard
Stanford (EA)
Vanderbilt
Emory
Georgetown
Princeton
Whitman
Dartmouth
and some safeties

Apparently, you recognize quality education and the service we provide. The only question I would pose to you is, have you considered fit and foreseeability as a guideline with regards to the schools of your choice?

Having agreeable grammar and proper punctuation is one thing, suitability is another. Success is built upon the foundation of love and labor where commitment to integrity and honor cement the blocks of this our edifice into an academic structure worthy of our effort and personal investment.

While one would arm oneself with numerous choices for failure, why would one wish to counter every conquest merely for sport and tally? I, for one, chose only those institutions for whom I deemed properly suited and fit. Perhaps this is unreasonable, but this attitude surely met my every expectation and fulfilled my life’s dreams with Williams College.

Best wishes to all of you!

^that was awesome

you are good hope you get in:)
