class rank: 13 out of 1,025 (really big school)
6 AP courses total (5 this year- Calc AB, English, Spanish, US Government, Comparative Politics)....5 on US hist exam, 5 on World Hist exam
ACT Composite: 31 ~~about a 2050 SAT equivalent
Math-32
English-33
Science-29
Reading-30</p>

<p>ECs:
-National Honor Society Fundraising Chairman
-3 years of high school soccer, 2 Varsity letters
-co-captain of club soccer team which has played in notable tournaments all over E. Coast and in Europe too (not being recruited though!)
Key Club member (lots of hours)
-Meals on Wheels food deliverer (lots of hours)
-tutor students who have come from foreign countries that speak little or no english (lots of hours)</p>

<p>Jobs:
go-kart attendant/serviceman for a small minigolf/gokart businees (during school and summer)
youth soccer referee (during school year)</p>

<p>Awards:
West Point Leadership Award (freshman year)
Distinguished Honor Roll (all years)
Renassaince Commendation with Honors (10,11,12)</p>

<p>my essays are ballin and i think the optional supplement i wrote was good too</p>

<p>like everyone else, probably really good recs (didnt look at them)</p>

<p>my first semester grades are all A's and 1 B so far (5 AP's, 2 honors courses)</p>

<p>I think you have a good shot, your SAT is a little low, but definitely still in the range. As for soccer, we are pretty competitive at soccer, but you could always try to walk on if you want. I would say you will be very competitive, but remember, so are 70% of the applicant. The thing that will really help is the tutoring of foreign students.</p>

<p>thanks. i emphasized the tutoring program in the space on the common app to explain an ec in more detail so hopefully that will stand out…oh n yea uw gpa is out of 4 at my school.</p>
