Objective:
SAT I (breakdown): 740 CR 760 M 800 W (2300)</p>

<p>SAT II: 730 math 1, 740 US history... I just took some more subject tests yesterday.. I think I did better on those</p>

<p>Unweighted GPA (out of 4.0): 4.0
Rank: 1/336</p>

<p>Awards: exemplary vocal performance award at the state level(highest possible rating), exemplary ensemble(highest rating at state.. I won this with a 6 girl ensemble), Talent show best vocalist 2010 and 2011, all a honor roll every semester</p>

<p>Extracurriculars: National Honor Society(president 2010-present), National Key Club, Book Club, Spanish Club, Music Appreciation Club, Choir(alto section leader 2009-present), Colla Voce(traveling,competition choir), trained in voice, piano, guitar, and percussion instruments, music producer, dental shadowing</p>

<p>Job/Work Experience: helped develop music website*</p>

<p>Volunteer/Community service: volunteered at woman's shelter, elementary school carnival and rodeo volunteer, Christmas parade volunteer, organized field trip and play for National Reading Day, Planned series of events for teacher appreciation week, helped organize activity day with special needs, peer tutor, mentor kids with this program and teach them golf</p>

<p>Not until you have saved orphans from a burning building will Harvard even consider you. You must save exactly 7 orphans, no more, no less. Any extra must be left behind.</p>

<p>Hard to predict your chances for a school like Harvard, but I KNOW you are a excellent student, and that the admission committee will seriously consider you.</p>

<p>^Not to mention that she’s black. Can’t say that hurts.</p>

<p>In all seriousness, OP, I think you have as good a shot as most of the other applicants do.</p>

<p>You are a strong candidate. As long as you address how your achievements in music have shaped your academic aspirations (so they don’t wonder why you’re not going into music) you should have a very good chance. Good luck!</p>
