Chances for Regular Decision

<p>Man... Will having no AP's kill me?</p>

<p>Objective:
ACT: 32 (I also sent a 31 with writing, but I couldn't get my thoughts together on it and I got a 4.)
Unweighted GPA (out of 4.0): 3.98
Rank: 5/180
AP: None... I did take 3 college classes though, and I'm signed up to take one more this Spring
Senior Year Course Load: Law Enforcement/Emergency Medical Training I & II/American Government (This is my first hour college class split up by 9 weeks), College Algebra, Intro to Theatre, Intro to Computer Science (Spring Class), Art I, English IV, Health</p>

Extracurriculars (place leadership in parenthesis): Very active in all drama productions at my school (All-State Thespian), Varsity Golf, Varsity Tennis, Varsity Swim Team, I play guitar at church, Beta Club
Job/Work Experience: Worked for a while at a radio station
Summer Activities: Lived in New York City and auditioned for commercials (Essay is about this)
Essays: Good.
Teacher Recommendation: Math and French... They're good too.
Counselor Rec: Good.
Interview: Haven't got one yet.</p>

<p>Eh... I just got rejected from Yale, too. I'm feeling like I won't get in anywhere now.....</p>

<p>It depends. does your school offer APs and you opted not to take them? If so, it could hurt your chances although the college courses may outwiegh that. I'm not really sure how they view those. I just remember visiting the school and the admin person saying over and over that they like to see their students take the hardest classes available to them and do well in them. Good luck anyway.</p>
