Chances for Rose-Hulman

<p>I'm going to begin my senior year this August - I absolutely love everything about Rose (minus the cost haha) and intend on going there for engineering, most likely mechanical or electrical but undecided as of yet. </p>

<p>White male from Indiana, GPA: 3.99/4.00 unweighted, 4.4652/4.00 weighted</p>

<p>Ranked 12/326 students in my graduating class</p>

<p>SAT:
Math: 720
Critical Reading: 630
Writing: 550 (yes I know it's awful)
Total: 1900</p>

<p>Extracurriculars:
- Art club 11-12
- Fellowship Christian Athletes 9-10
- Spanish Club 10-12
- Pride Club 11
- Engineering Club 9-12</p>

<p>Volunteering:
- 2 hours a week, during the school year, of assistant teaching a 4-5 year old class at our church's Wednesday night program
- I have on multiple occasions assisted in the maintenance and renovation of a school for children with cerebral palsy (The Jackson Center).
- Perennial class leader at our church's Vacation Bible School. Around 30 hours of work total for each summer.</p>

Language - 4</p>

Intro to Sociology from Ivy-Tech, "A" grade earned, 2 more DC classes planned for Senior year below.</p>

<p>I attended Operation Catapult at Rose this summer, which was completely awesome. It was the major reason I stopped focusing only on Purdue and it opened my eyes to how amazing Rose-Hulman would be as a student there. </p>

<p>My dad graduated from Rose-Hulman, and I was in Operation Catapult last summer. Let me say that you don’t have much to worry about if you keep on working hard senior year!</p>

<p>I’m at Catapult right now, heh. I don’t mean to sound arrogant but…Rose is pretty easy to get into. You’ll definitely get in. They say 95% of admissions is academics. BTW, they don’t look at the writing section of SAT</p>
