Chances for Special Circumstances, not top 7%

I moved from Florida to Texas in the middle of my junior year and my new school didn't accept or add the extra GPA point for the majority of my AP or Honors courses. I'm in the top 20% and currently making straight As, I think I'll be in the top 15 or 10% by the end of the semester.

My SAT is 1930 with a 1290 Math+Reading
ACT 28
More than 10 APs
Varsity Track and Cross Country
Lots of mission work through my church
Had a summer job teaching children spanish
Editor in Chief of my high school paper
Two letters of recommendation - one from youth leader, one from Calculus teacher

I really believe I would be in the top 7% if I had not moved to Texas so late, or my grades had not transferred so strangely. Will UT consider this? This is my dream school so please be honest.

bump bump bump

UT strongly considers the class rank when you apply. If you were around the 20% mark then it will be tough to get admitted. Your scores are good but average for UT. If you did all the essays and they were really good you will have a better chance but still a bubble applicant.

No guarantees, this is just one anecdote, but I knew a kid like you last year, a kid who moved in the middle of his high school career and it hurt his ranking, and he did end up getting in. No slam dunk, but you are a contender.
