I am new here and this is somewhat lengthy haha but anyway, I was looking at a couple of colleges that are below, but first of all, here is my academic standing:
-Senior Class of 2013
-3.8 GPA unweighted through grades 9-11th including PE
-3.667 GPA unweighted through grades 10-11th excluding PE
-4.238 GPA weighted through grades 9-11 ALL SUBJECTS
-4.105 GPA weighted through grades 9-11 Excluding PE
-Rank 32 of 634 in my school's 12th grade class (top 5%)
-SAT:1820 (Reading: 550, Math: 650, Writing: 620) (I am retaking the SAT in October and have been practicing for somewhere around 2000-2100)
-AP: U.S. History 5, English literature (or something like that) 4
-My senior classes: AP US Government/Economics
Honors Geology
AP Calculus
AP English Literature
AP Spanish 4

I will be applying before my transcript gets updated with this year's semester grades (quarter grades don't go on my transcript) so my GPA that will be on my applications will be based mostly on the years that I have completed and the numbers above are pulled directly off of my transcript I received today. I want to major in Computer Science and I want to go to a good school that is known or ranked for that (I want to be realistic though and so I am not trying to go for MIT or Stanford or Caltech based on my GPA and SAT). I was looking at the following schools:

-Georgia Tech (GATech)
-University of California Berkeley (UCB)
-University of California San Diego (UCSD)
-Renssalaer Polytechnic University (RPI)
-Steven's Institute of Technology (SIT?)
-Carnegie Mellon University (CMU)

BTW, I am a California resident. Please give me some advice and tell me what you think about the schools above and if you have any suggestions about where else I could apply. Thanks for reading all the way and for your help!
