Chances for UChicago, Notre Dame, Northwestern, CMU?

<p>Plan of Action:
* Applying EA to UChicago and ND.
* Regular decision for Carnegie Mellon and Northwestern.</p>

<p>GPA:
* Unweighted GPA of 3.9+
* Weighted GPA of 4.9+</p>

<p>Standardized tests:
* ACT - 31, no writing.
* ACT - 30, writing.</p>

<p>Classes:
* All taken at an honors level.</p>

<p>AP Classes and scores:
* AP Calculus BC - TBD
* AP Physics B - TBD
* AP US History - 4
* AP Psychology - 4
* AP Statistics - 5</p>

<p>Clubs/Sports/Activities/Jobs:
* Founded an engineering/design club, along with cofounding and actively administering another.
* Did not play any sports.
* Worked 10+ hours a week starting Junior year.</p>

<p>Anything else that would be critical to know? Thanks for your time!</p>

<p>Your ACT for ND is low. Very much a reach given what seems to be a lack of EC’s, test scores, and no apparent hook.</p>

<p>I have to agree that those schools are reaches for you because of your ACT scores and your lacking EC’s. </p>
