-Summer job: Summers of 2010, 2011, 2012
-Club Ice Hockey: School does not offer ice hockey as a school sport, although, my city has a high school team that is a combination of all the high schools in the county that plays during the off-season, in which I have played during the summers of 2011 and 2012. I played local club in 2009-2010, and the seasons of 2010-2011, 2011-2012, and 2012-2013, played/playing at a club that is around 2 hours away because of the level that I play at.
-After School Tutor: Only 12th grade as a senior :(, 2-3 hours a week.
-Interact Club: Only 12th grade as a senior as well :(
-Volunteer Coach: Volunteer coach for a "kids camp" where small kids are just learning to play ice hockey. I will probably write about this for common apps.
-Volunteer at Local Wounded Heroes Fund: "VIP" Volunteer every year at the locally-founded "Wounded Heroes Fund" that helps veterans pay for and access every-day necessities. I can get a pretty good recommendation from the founder of the organization.
-California Scholarship Federation: Four-year CSF member/achiever.
-"Physics Day": On my school's super quiz team that got second place on the super quiz at the local city-wide "Physics Olympics Day".

Bump, please give me some help/feedback! I will chance you back!

C’mon someone chance me!

Bump 10char

chance me back please http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1391988-pleeeaseee-chance-me-engineering-i-will-chance-back.html</a></p>

If you raise your SAT score you will be in much better shape for all your schools. Try the ACT too! You have a great courseload and awesome EC’s. Make sure to get good recs and write good essays. I’m applying to RPI as well! I’d say you have a pretty good shot. WPI should be a safety for you. NYU Poly is also a match and Stevens and CMU are definitely reaches but you have a chance! I don’t know much about the other schools, but good luck :)

Thanks for your input! I read that WPI has a pretty good return on investment so I figured that I might apply there. Good luck to RPI as well and wherever else you apply :). Anyone else want to provide some chances?

Yeah, get that SAT up. RPI’s average is 2000 so 1820 could be a problem.

I would agree, get the SAT a little higher and you would be in good shape. CMU is a reach, especially going into their computer science. Are you applying EA to any?

Chance me back!!! We have a lot of similar schools! http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1393847-chances-chemical-engineering-not-so-great-test-scores.html</a></p>

Okay thank you for your opinions rico and jledge! Ill chance you jledge!

Anybody else?

You have a good gpa! I think you will definitely get into a UC and GATech if you get your test scores higher. If you have not taken any subject tests, I suggest that you take the ACT because many colleges require ACT with writing or SAT I with two subject tests. Just check your colleges for their requirements/suggestions. I think Carneige will be a reach, but I think you have a decent shot. Good luck! and Chance me back!
