i hate to say it, but i slacked off during my sophomore and junior year and it hurt me extremely badly. i want to know what my chances are at all uc's but basically just ucsd, uci, and ucr. i'd like to put ucla but i know it's impossible. ucsd is even being ridiculously hopeful. here's my info

gpa:3.1
sat: 2060
sat2 math2c: 670
korean 650

i put a heck lot of extra curicular such as different music groups, marching band, a bunch of church leadership stuff, volunteer work etc. i actually think my essays were pretty well written. i had them reviewed by a 2 ucla students and 4 ucsd students, and 2 of my english teachers. all said they were good except a few word changes, grammar errors etc. i've taken a total of 6 ap classes and am taking a college writing course right now at a community college.

chances? for ucsd, uci, ucr. or for all uc's.
thanks in advance

UCSD, UCLA, and UC Berkeley are not realistic. I think you have a shot at possibly getting into one of the mid tier UC's, however, its going to be very tough. If your UC GPA is arround a 3.4 or so, your odds look like this:

Here is a link for you to check out the admission averages for UC schools. Just simply click on the campus and it will display the freshmen admission averages and statistics. This should give you a better feel for what your odds look like:

I'm in the same exact boat as you. Except you have a .1 better GPA, and 110 points on my on the SAT's. I also got into UCR and I'm also Korean. Waiting on UCI seeing as how thats my realistic goal. Goodluck to the both of us!

hey, does anyone know how uc's release their decisions? i heard it was by major. but is that true? because a few of my friends with undeclared major already got in, but i have a declared major (international studies) and i didn't recieve a decision yet. do they just like... release all the rejection's at once?
i'm worried about mainly uci right now.
