Chances for UCSB, UCSC, Cal Poly SLO, UCSD, UC Berkeley (reach)?

I'm currently a junior who has just taken 2 AP tests (english language & us history) and is pretty positive she at least scored a 3 on both. First term of junior year, I got an A in english and a B in history. Second term was the same except for a drop to a C in history (started slacking off). Both terms, I received A's in my other classes (honors bio, honors precal, psych, spanish 3/4). My current overall weighted GPA is a 4.0, and unweighted is a 3.5. I have roughly 150 hours of community service & 4 years of gymnastics (I'll definitely be doing it senior year). I'll be taking my SAT in a week and I'm shooting for a 1700-1900. I'm not sure what my exact rank in my class is, but I know I'm in the top 18% (approximately..). It may be too soon to tell, but what are my chances of getting into UC Santa Barbara, UC Santa Cruz, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, UC San Diego, or UC Berkeley? UCSD & UC Berkeley are sort of reaching for me, but it never hurts to try.

Also, senior year I plan on taking AP Econ, AP Govt, and AP Calc. I have the option of taking AP Lit, but if I do, that means not taking a 3rd year of Spanish (which is recommended for these UC schools). My overall profile doesn't seem as achieving as most competitive college-bound students' look, so I'm really just trying to make myself look as marketable as possible while I still can. Would you recommend AP Lit or Spanish 5/6 one term & a much easier senior english class the second term?

I think I'm capable of 4 AP classes, it's just a matter of me going through senioritis...

ucsc- you’ll get in
cal poly- 60% you’ll get in
ucsb- try to get all A’s senior year and youll get in
ucberkeley- reach for sure
ucsd- same as ucsb

i live in santa cruz and i encourage you to visit ucsc, it’s such a beautiful campus and city. go slugs

you’ll probably get into UCSC. I have a friend that was accepted with a 1340 SAT score. Go figure.

awesome thanks. UCSC is a first choice for me, UCSB would be nice though. i hear ucsc is a little different than other uc campuses, as far as the general vibe and the people. a visit is a mustt

hey you’re a gymnast too?! What level? I want to start a club gymnastics team at Cal Poly… I don’t know how hard that would be though.

Also I’ve heard that Cal Poly actually has a lower acceptance rate than UCSC and UCSB. Collegeboard.com has a helpful tool where you can plug in your scores/grades and it compares them to other people at that college.
