Chances for UCSD bioengineering/biomedical engineering?

Hi everybody, I'm new to this forum, can you help me out? UCSD is probably my top choice for bioengineering, (rising senior) After taking chem and bio in school I'm now so interested in the subject! What are my chances please? Also, are UCB or UCLA easier to get in for this particular major, since UCSD is considered the top UC for bioE? THanks!

UCSD: Safe Match (Engineering)

Thanks, flopsy! Hmmm, but do you mean bioengineering or engineering in general? Is it a lot harder to get into bioE?

Oh yeah, do you think I have a shot at other supposedly good schools for Bioengineering, like JHU, Duke, Upenn, Rice, etc? Even though I don't have the greatest extracurriculars...but I'm hoping writing a research paper might help me :-)

anyone else have any advice/suggestions?

imo, sjsu is the best kind of school there is for engineering. its a way to develop and learn your heritage while getting a top-notch education
