Chances for UNC, Georgetown, Cornell, Boston College, Wake Forest, Davidson

Just got my SAT scores back and they turned out great, so I thought I’d do an updated chance.

ACADEMICS:
SAT - 1380 (680M 700R)
GPA - 3.72 UW, 4.25W
No AP classes until Senior Year, where I will be taking APES, AP Calc AB, AP Physics C
Almost entirely Honors classes in core classes

LETTERS OF RECOMMENDATION:
All of the teachers I asked love me to death so they will be great

EXTRA-CIRRICULARS:
3 year as NBA team’s Assistant Equipment Manager
President of Mach Trial Club
Church Basketball Two Years
Spikeball Club member
Started Architectural Photography business making thousands per year
Head Prefect Committee
Internship with Local Nonprofit’s Creative Development Team
3 years Volunteering biweekly with local non profit’s creative production team producing live music experiences for 20,000 people
National Honor Society
Attend two weekly youth groups

I would strongly consider applying to a reach school ED to help increase my chances, and I will apply everywhere EA

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR TAKING YOUR TIME TO HELP ME

Do you have any hooks?

Your test score is great nationally, but in terms of the schools you are targeting, they are not. For example, Georgetown’s average SAT is a 1470, and Cornell’s is a 1480. Your EC’s look fine but it would help if you focused your attention deeply onto one or two things rather than spreading everything out which could show a lack of commitment. Also, the fact that you haven’t taken any AP classes up to this point would be concerning to a college such as Georgetown who regularly expect that incoming students have taken at least 8-10 AP classes. I would say based on your info:
UNC- Match
Georgetown- Extreme Reach
Cornell- Extreme Reach
Boston College- Reach
Wake Forest- Match
Davidson- Reach

@VANDEMORY1342 Not any significant hooks, unfortunately

@oakland818 I’m in state for UNC by the way. Are there any other schools you would recommend that I look at? I’m looking to major in philosophy for Pre Law
