Chances for USC, CAL, UCLA, NW...

Hey everyone. I would appreciate it if you guys can give me your opinions about my chances at the schools I'm applying to. The schools are...

Cal, UCLA, UCSD, UCSB, USC, Northwestern, Cornell, Rice, Swarthmore, and Carnegie Mellon

I plan to major in Electrical Engineering.

Here are my stats.

I'm an Asian male living in California and I am the first of my siblings to attend college

GPA: 4.35 (UC Weighted) 4.00 (UC non-weighted). I got a B in freshmen biology though...
SAT I: M:750 CR:660 W:690 Total: 2100
SAT II: Math IIC: 790 Physics: 730 Chemistry: 700
AP's: I took 3 AP's as a junior (chemistry, physics, art history) and I self-studied for calculus. The scores I got are: Chemistry: 5, Physic B: 5, Calculus AB: 5, Art History: 2 =(. For my senior year, I'm taking AP Lit and Comp, AP Calc BC, AP Stats, and AP German. This time I plan to self-study for physics C because my school doesn't offer it.
Rank: 32/550 (Top 6%)

ECs:
I'm involved in a lot of typical EC's as club as club member and stuff. The most notable ones are:
Vice President of Model United Nations
President of Physics Department in School Science Club
Lead Singer of a High School Rock Band
Captain of Intermural Basketball Team
150 Community Service Hours as an Audio/Video Technician for a Children's Choir
Former Small Group Leader and Music Worship Leader at a Church Group

Thanks for the help everyone :).

Nudge.........

Bump.........

Okay,

Class rank is a little low for NW, Cornell, Rice, and CMU, as most applicants are realistically well in the top 5%. 1410 SAT is at the 50% for NW and Cornell, above CMU, and a little below for Rice. I'd say decent shot (slight reach) at all of those schools, with CMU your greatest chance. Someone else can talk bout the rest.

UCB/UCLA/USC Match

Cornell: Slight Reach (almost match)

Yeah those were my projections initially too. Do you guys think the 2 in Art History is going to hurt me though?

Are AP scores even important?

I hate to do this but bump....

Your SAT score is a bit average (if not low) for Cornell's engineering

don't let that discourage you. try to nail a good essay, you're on the borderline.

Cornell likes to see "700+" on all

my friend got into Cornell with 770 math, 730verbal, 750 writing

you're very close though

Is Cornell's engineering even something to consider above Berkeley's? I'm planning to do EECS/EE and Berkeley is like ranked 3 in that.

anyone...?

I just found out that I put an honor/award wrong on my UC application. Instead of "California Scholarship Federation" I put "California State Federation". Would they reject me because of this? I'm trying to contact them but for some reason I can't find information anywhere.

go to berkeley
that is if u dont mind huge classes

I'm so scared. Do you guys think they'll think that I'm lying.

secessionist!

What.....?

So I just mailed the UC's so hopefully everything will be taken care of.

CallMeGoose:

UCB/UCLA: Match (Engineering)
UCSD: Safe Match (Engineering)
UCSB: Super Safety

Thanks flopsy
