Given this limited scope, could anyone please analyze and evaluate my chances of admission into the following schools
-Va Tech's Engineering Program
-UVa
-Emory
-Carnegie Mellon
-Johns Hopkins
-William and mary
-Georgia Tech
*Anything you can provide is welcome, please feel free to offer criticism and suggestions-Thank You in advance *

As an in-stater, you should be fine at UVa and W & M. Not familiar w/ the Tech school. Does that give is state preference too?

Emory: did you visit?
JHU: what is your major? They have higher standards for Biomedical engineering

Not sure about the others. Suggestion: When listing 2009-2010 internship, eliminate the past tense. (make it “work” not “worked”)

Thanks for the reply:
-JHU-I’ll probably be going into International relations with pre-med
-the thing with UVA and william and Mary is that half of their accepted applicants come from private schools, which means that there is less chance for kids who attend public schools
-Thank you so much for the suggestion on the resume

Another question-
Can you suggest any safety schools… Thanks.
