Hey everybody, this is my first ever post so please excuse me if I don't understand protocol. Thanks to anyone who wants to reply. I'm really interested in Sports Journalism, maybe Sports Business.
I'm a white male, middle class and Jewish. My high school, Cherry Hill East, is like an elite public school apparently. Oh and I'm a Junior.

GPA: Mid-high B
SAT (my first try): Comp: 2060, Math: 670, Writing: 680, Critical: 710
PSAT (2013): National Merit honorable mention (top 5%)
APs: None right now, I do take German Honors (all three years), and I took all honors in Freshman year. If it helps, our honors and AP are the same class level.

ECs (Here's where I think I stand out)
-Editor on Award Winning Newspaper (best in NJ since '08), going for Editor in Cheif next year, have been on paper since freshman year
- Habitat for Humanity
- Featured Columnist (highest ranking other than senior writer) for BleacherReport.com, the 4th most read sports site in America
- Intern writer for MLBreports.com, another big sports blog
- Have own blog, Phightingon.com, where I have interviewed top minor league baseball prospects
- Volunteer cooking for homeless at synagogue
- Marketing intern for Minor League baseball team this summer

I haven't written my essay yet (still a junior) but I'm a really great writer
My teachers love me, and one of my recommendations will be coming from my journalism teacher, who is himself an author and syndicated columnist. If anyone has any suggestions for sports journalism schools that are more in my range, that would be cool too.
