You're right, it really does **** people up

Wow. It's really weird that your projected schedule is almost exactly like mine (the courses and the number of AP), with like 2 differences...just that I'm a sophomore.

And, I practically started the exact same thread....lol.
But anyway, good luck!

Ewww extemp? I could never do that. DUO is the best! But hey, extemp is some serious politic-ing, you're a strong kid.

don't be like me and do every single college-appealing activity there is.
do what you like, stick with it, at least go national.

as for SAT, either you suck now and work your way up - earlier the better.
or you are a god already and ace it on your first go.

you will spend at least 50 hours on collegeconfidential if you are hooked this early

just chill - colleges surprisingly want to see real people who still have growing and maturing to do - they aren't going to count up all of your ap's and extracurriculars to compare you to someone else - one different class isn't going to make or break your app. the college process is stressful enough if you start it junior year - just concentrate on being well rounded and ENJOYING the things that you do. go out with your friends on a weekend instead of studying once in a while! perspective is a fabulous thing!

at the pace you're going you're going to be seeing a psychiatrist 5 days a week by junior year.

CC is really reflects how f'd up college admissions are.
As someone already said before... Get a life.

Extemp is overrated. Debate is where it's at - and I don't mean that wish washy public forum nonsense either.
