And my essays range from good to great.

bump.
I’ll chance back!

Low ACT score. Bring that to a 33+ and I say great chances.

The OP already applied- those are the submitted scores.

Don’t you need 3 subject tests for Georgetown? Or does the ACT take care of that?

I’d say you’re a yes at NYU, CM and Macalester, a maybe at Georgetown and a no at Columbia and Swat. GPA and rank are great, but the ACT and SAT are low for those schools.

great rank . and you need one more SAT II for georgetown… well not really but “highly reccommended” is just another term for required ,imo.

yes for NYU . maybe … just maybe Columbia.

From the Gtown website: [Georgetown University- Office of Undergraduate Admissions](http://uadmissions.georgetown.edu/applying_firstyear_preparation.cfm)

SAT Subject Tests
It is strongly recommended that all candidates, whether they have taken the SAT Reasoning Test or the ACT, submit three SAT Subject Tests scores. The scores from writing portion on the SAT Reasoning Test and the optional writing portion of the ACT will not be used in place of a Subject Test.

Based on that, I think your admissions chance is unlikely. Why didn’t you take 3?

Georgetown was the last college I decided to apply to, and I didn’t have enough time to prepare and do well on another subject test. Considering that GT dropped the “required” aspect, I thought that 2 of the 3 would suffice, instead of me submitting other terrible subject test scores.

I figured Columbia and Swarthmore were huge reaches, and I’m okay with that. I just hope that I’m well-rounded enough for Georgetown. Aside from the subject test, am I on track?

Your stats seem really good to me, it’s a little late now though, just sit back and relax, the acceptances will come.

Chance me back?
Lacking ecs?
