I will probably be in NHS senior year (application pending)

Approximately 90 hours of community service this past year

National Merit SemiFinalist
AP Scholar with Honor
I have taken basically the most rigorous courses my school has to offer

My essay and recs. will probably both be solid, but not spectacular

What are my chances at:
Georgetown
Georgewashington
Northwestern
University of Chicago
Washington University (in St. Louis)
Dartmouth

All are matches except GW is a safety & Dartmouth is a reasonable reach. I'd be surprised if you didn't get into GW + at least 1 more school w/ solid grades & super high test scores.

I think your EC's might sting at HYPSM (which you seem to not be interested in), but other than that you are pretty solid across the board. Georgetown doesn't consider writing at all, so you have a 1580 there which is as good as perfect.

Where are your SAT II's? Low marks here could make you look like a slacker, so be careful!

thanks for your comments stamliark; I'm taking the SAT IIs next month (I should be able to get very high on both the maths, but third one will be lower); I would be interested in HYPSM if I thought I had any chance of getting into any of them; I'm lucky with Georgetown's not looking at writing
Also, is it a bad idea to submit both math SAT IIs as two of your three?

Your grades, SAT score, and ACT score are all great. What is your focus? What are you interested in? In applications and interviews, you want to highlight yourself as an individual, not just a person with some scores.
