Chances getting into UF?

<p>Im aiming for a 1270, but Im a pretty mediocre test taker.
I took the Apr 1st SATs and got my scores back today.
I got a 1120, 570 in Math and 550 in CR, and 540 in Writing.
I know those scores arent top-of-the-line, but I would really appreciate it if you guys would give me some tips on how to study for the next SATs on June 3rd, which also turns out to be my Birthday.</p>

<p>Also, I was wondering if I had a good chance of getting into the University of Florida in Gainseville, I have a 3.85 GPA, 1120 On my SATs, like 1 club, and im In-State, a Minority, and also doing Early Decision. I take all the possible AP and Honors classes and am in the top 10 in my class. Thanks for the input.</p>

<p>My sister is currentley a freshman there. She was ranked 3rd, 3.95 gpa, like 4 clubs, and a 1240 on her SATs.
But my other friend who is white, got into UF with a 1080, 3.8 gpa, and not many extraciriculat activities.
So I dont know.</p>

<p>I'd say it's a maybe. UF is getting tougher to get into. They are all about numbers. I go to school with plenty of people who got rejected this year who were in-state and have over 4.0 GPAs and over 1200 SATS.</p>
