I think you have a very solid chance to get into most of the schools, especially if you applied somewhat early to the ones with rolling admission… My cousin got into Cornell with very similar stats, and they didn’t request for him to have an interview. But realistically, you won’t get into everyone of the schools because they are all highly competitive. Best of luck.

You have the SAT scores and GPA for a lot of these. You have average ECs, but it shows dedication that you did them for all 4 years. Anyways, I feel your chances are as follows:

Northwestern: High match
Emory: Low match/match
UC Berkeley: Mid-High reach. Its really really really hard to get in out of state. Like, insanely hard.
Vanderbilt: High match/match
USC: High match/match
Duke: Reach
UCLA: Mid reach. Hard OoS again.
WashU: Don’t Know it
Cornell: Low-Mid Reach
Johns Hopkins: High match

i think that youre set for all except duke and cornell, where youll be on the fence and you really need to have something that shows them you are unique.

chance me please, im the 3rd post from the bottom.

Northwestern: Match
Emory: Safety
UC Berkeley: Reach
Vanderbilt: Match
USC: Match
Duke: Low Reach, but Duke is bad for Maryland! xd
UCLA: Reach
WashU: Match
Cornell: Lower Reach, but IVY schools are random
Johns Hopkins: Match

^ thanks for the replies, but I am not expecting much, because my class rank sucks, and these schools probably get lots of kids with my stats and better class ranks…

^ I have already been accepted by 1 school(my saftey) . I just hope I can get into at least 1 school. With most of these schools rejecting more than 77 percent of its applicants it will be hard and I am not in the top 10 percent.

Cornell’s college of arts and science acceptance rate is like 15 percent…

I don’t really like USC too much, but if I can get into 1 of the other ones, i’d go…

What schools are your safety? They’re all great schools, butt I hope that you’re choosing schools that you can definitely get in. Your ethnicity helps out, too.

good stats/academics. good grades. seems like ur dedicated to ur extras. now time to shine on those essays. and ull get in to all. i think ur in for most. just write some really spectacular/passionate essays. i wouldn’t be surprised if you got into UCB or northwestern.
