HI, so I'm 26 I just finished my architecture degree, and I want to apply to a top Mba program. I have a really patchy past, so I would like to know how can I manage and explain it, in order to be considered by the application committees.

The story, I'm Colombian and I started in engineering in my home university (one of the best of latin america), changed to architecture, I didn't had energy and I was depressed (so I thought so). to clear my mind I went for 9 months to volunteer in northern India. I was happy, I built houses and schools for the townspeople. I went back home, I was better, but still I had the lack of energy that prevented me from studying properly...needless to say I failed everything and my university kicked me out.
A few months they discovered that I had a weird infection in the digestive system that had been carving out tunnels for years (resulting in my perpetual tiredness). I started in a new university, with a few classes while I had the surgeries. After one year and 5 surgeries I was finally cured, I got myself to study seriously, got a good average, did a long internship in one of the biggest real estate developers in the area. I transferred to one of the to architecture universities in Europe, and graduated with a 3.8 GPA.

My fear is that my first university transcripts will show dozens of failed classes. My TOEFL is maximum score, I haven't take the GRE or GMAT but usually I get extremely high scores in standardized tests (without studying) Any advice?
