Chances International

Hello everybody,

I just received my december SAT scores so I was wondering if you could chance me ! I know I'm neither the first nor the last but I would really be thankful if could spend a few minutes to help me :)

I arrived from France 2 months ago, so I went to high school in France. I will be OOs for tuition the first semester, but as I am now a permanent resident, I should be considered as an In State applicant, shouldn't I ?

SAT : 2050 (640cr, 800m, 610w)
TOEFL IBT : 102 (out of 120)

GPA : Hard do tell. They told that they would only consider my "Baccalaureat" which is the French high school diploma. Moreover, every class that I took for the Baccalaureat will be considered as credits at the University. So I think they will weight my gpa as APs. That would make me more than 4 weighted (4.5 ?). But frankly, I am not sure, the grading system in France is so different ...

Extracurricular : Class President (10th, 11th, 12th), Member of the Student's Life Council, Responsible of the Senior's Prom and a food collect for the less fortunate, Co-Responsible of the Yearbook an for the Christmas Party for students of 10th, 11th & 12th

Community Service : 160 hours in a Summer Camp

Work Experience : 200 Internship in a company in France

Essay about the Prom I managed, I think it should be pretty good.

Not sure about the residency status but your very good SAT score and your other impressive marks bode well for your chances. If you are in fact OOS, that will hurt but I think your record will take you over the hump. Bonne chance

Good chance in my opinion.
