Chances into Harvard

Hey guys, if you could give me an honest opinion on my app that would be great for my ED choice.

Academic:
3.95 unweighted GPA
All honors or AP
I go to Trinity in NYC, which is really competitive.

SAT Scores:
2250 old Sat
800 Physics
790 Latin

AP Scores:
5 Latin Vergil
5 French Language
(Planning to take Calc. BC, Physics C, and Bio AP’s this year tho)

Awards:
4x medal holder Science Olympiad, including a 3rd place and a 5th place.
School-Wide U.S. History Prize
2x NYC Science Bowl winners
1x NYC academic quiz bowl champs

EC’s:
Captain of school’s Science Olympiad Team for two years, and previous two years was a member.
President of school’s science bowl team
Reporter, and editor in chief of modern language and art magazine
Founder of a middle school outreach program that donates aquariums and teaches marine biology to underprivileged kids.
I tutor 3x a week before school in Math, French, and Latin.
Varsity Lacrosse for four years.

Internships:
Education Intern for the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection of CT.
Fisheries Intern for the Norwalk Maritime Aquarium
Marketing Intern for small start-up business in Silicon Valley

Also worth mentioning that my mom and two grand parents went to Harvard College, and my dad got a PhD there.

You have a shot, but this schools is a reach for everyone, including people who have higher GPAs and Test scores than you. Perfect stat applicants get rejected every single year.

Your legacy will help you.

You shouldn’t worry. As long as your essays and rec letters are great, you should be fine. The fact that you’re a legacy will also be extremely helpful. Best of luck!
