Chances Into the Music Industry Program?

<p>i'm not going to type up a novel for my chance thread like some other people do on these forums. im just gonna give the basics, hopefully you guys will be able to help! i would like to know my chances getting into the Bachelor Of Science Music Industry program (this is non-audition based admission). </p>

<p>GPA: 3.64 unweighted, 3.8 weighted
ACT: 32
Class Rank: 125/600</p>

<p>Other Info:
-white, upper middle class male
-honors math all four years of highschool
-3 AP's in my senior year
-have been playing organized soccer my whole life. varsity soccer in high
school.
-part time job as a telemarketer that does customer satisfaction calls.
-a little bit of community service here and there.
-play in the band at my church
-i've played drums for 8 years, guitar for 4, piano and bass for about 2
years each.
-i've been writing and recording music out of my basement for my own solo projects as well as some local bands for about 3 or 4 years.
-i plan on concentrating on my love for writing, recording, listening to, and sharing new music in my essays</p>

<p>Your stats are right in there (or pretty close) for admission to USC, but sorry, I don't know anything about the Music Industry Program. Good luck.</p>

<p>Most of us don't know anything about the music industry program, which is why we aren't commenting. We don't want to give false information. Good general USC admission advice: make sure to write excellent essays about your passions. That is what USC is really interested in seeing.</p>
