What do you think my chances are at all the UC's in california besides Berkeley and LA? More specifically, Irvine. Thanks guys

good chances. i have a friend with maybe a little better GPA than u have but your SAT scores blew those of his away!!! i wouldnt worry; u should get into Irvine no problem, when i compare you with my friend who got into Irvine

UCSD, UCLA, and UC Berkeley arent gonna happen. UCI/UCSB/UCD are gonna be slight reaches to reaches. Your SAT's are around or slightly better than their averages, but your GPA is well below their averages. I just dont see a GPA of 3.3 getting you into one of the mid tier UC's, but you never know. Best of luck.

Here are the most recent admit figures by campus for the UC's. This will give you a better idea of your chances.

That what I was afraid of, my GPA. How much do the GPA weigh in determining who is accepted and who is not? It shoots down my confidence when I see my GPA is about .4-.6 lower than average incoming freshmans in these colleges.

ah yi ya, not good. how much bearing will senior year GPA have on the colleges decision? I plan to work my butt off, unfortunately I heard it doesnt really matter if I do have a high senior year GPA
