Chances @ JHU, RICE, NORTHWESTERN ....etc

My GPA is about a 3.6 UW, but it was because of only one year that brought it down due to family issues which will be the heart of my essay. I had a 4.3 unweighted GPA going into that year. Following that one semester, my grades shot back up.

I know my SATS will be in the 2200 range as well as the ACT in the 30's
I will do well on the SAT II's as well.

I go to a private school which i think helps because of the competitive curriculum

I did JV Basketball, Soccer in my freshman and sophomore year

Now I do Varsity Baseball, Snowboarding (with the school), and Varsity Soccer.

I was in Math Team, Quiz Team, Speech and Debate in my freshman and sophomore year
Ive taken two AP tests, because those were the only two offered. 5 on the AP Calculus, and 3 on European History. Any classes that offered honors i took. 2 credits in 8th grade, 7.5 credits in 9th, 7 credits in 10th
Extracurriculars: 200+ hours of volunteer work, probably more this summer at a local hospital or SPCA, full summer of job experience, HMMT Harvard-MIT competition high scorer for my school, Core Leader at my school, Math Prefect, Science Prefect. Worked with habitat for humanity. Improv club. Probably going to be a dorm leader and peer counselor next year.
My essay will be phenomenal.
