I'm really skeptical about my application because of my terrible junior year. I've looked as Rutgers pretty much my safety for the last few years, but now I'm worried because this sudden crash in GPA is gonna make my application horrible. And should I apply earlier since it is rolling admissions or should I apply later so that I can send my 1st Marking Period Senior grades?

Rutgers is really competitive. Everything you have is great…but that GPA. I do not want to discourage you-but RU has high standards when it comes down to GPA, however you should apply anyways…and explain to them why your GPA dropped so low. If you do not get accepted try going to a community college for at least a semester, re-apply to RU, then see what happens. Good luck.

junior year is the most important year but a 3.1 is suffiecent to get into SAS program is applied early especially with those SAT scores. SEBS is a little harder than SAS but easily obtainable. I had a 3.7 GPA in highschool but lower SAT scores and got in SAS,SEBS,and School of engineering(which i am enrolled in). Just apply early and imo SEBS>SAS if you want premed. SAS took 4000 students this year. SEBS took 1000 students.
