What are my chances for EA and scholarships?
What other schools are matches for me (considering a raised ACT score)?
Is it easier to get in EA?
What other schools would offer me scholarships?

Look at the LSU website and you will find information on the minimum scores needed for admission. There are minimum test scores for Math and English that must be met.

You can E-Mail or call the Admission Counselor for your state and ask questions.

The LSU financial aid website has information on the minimum test scores and GPA needed for scholarships. You will need to check the website for all the schools that you are thinking of applying to to determine the minimum test scores and GPAs needed for scholarships. Try to score above the minimum test scores listed.

Class rank is important to many admission offices.

You should be able to tell if you should apply EA by looking at the application deadlines for the schools that you are planning on applying to. Some schools, like the University of Florida’s application deadline information states that applying for regular admission will be based on available space, so then EA would be a better choice if you apply to UF.

University of Florida has only one application deadline. If you apply after that date then your application will be considered on a space available basis. It does not have ED or EA.
LSU has rolling admissions, with the application process beginning in the Summer., and notifications going out beginning on October1 depending on the application date.

Possibly, if the application and all the supplemental paperwork can be completed early.

I applied in late July, but my application was not completed until late August when I could get a copy of my Senior Class schedule. I was accepted on October 2nd and paid my housing deposit the same day.

Does it has to be an official schedule?
Do you know anything about admissions for students who have dual enrolled?
What were your stats like?
@jseg

Got back two days ago from the LSU Spring invitational. Got my LSU id and scheduled my classes for the Fall.

The Senior class schedule that you send in has to be an official copy. It is not mandatory, but it is recommended.

My school does not offer dual enrollment, but I took only Honors, AP and IB classes in high school. My GPA is 4.36, my ACT composite was 29 and my combined SAT math and critical reading score was 1300. I had over 1200 hours of volunteer hours.

An Admissions Counselor can easily tell you what you need to do to improve your chances of admissions. The admissions website does have the answers to all your questions.

The only financial aid that I qualify for is loans, no grants. I received the $7600 per year Tiger Excellence Award scholarship from LSU. Maybe I should take the SAT again as another 30 - 40 points would double the scholarship amount.

Thank you! Though I know it shouldn’t be too hard to get in, I’m super nervous! In other news-- I was accepted to LSU’s LeaderShipU yesterday! @jseg11
