I would appreciate it if someone could tell me what my chances for getting into Williams Colege are.
I live in India but am a domestic applicant (i.e. a US citizen)
11th grade scores- Mostly A's and ranked in the top 5% of this school.
The 10th grade scores are lower.
My SAT score is 2250 (Math 800, CR 760, W 690)

Extra-curriculars:-
I have not been involved in any international contest like the IMO.

Selection for a couple of national seminars in graduate mathematics
(Representation Theory, Commutative Algebra, Topology)
The indian equivalent of the USAMO in grades 10th and 11th (but didn't do well at the IMO selection camp tests)
The RMO which is more or less similar to the AIME (500 people selected from the country) in grades 9th and 10th.

Clubs (Do they really matter?)
Math problem solving club
Reading club (Western literature)

Active involvement in community service.

I have represented my school in a couple of tennis tournaments but no awards.

I am sending a recommendation from a university mathematics professor. It will be really strong and will certainly help me.
The English teacher's recommendation is quite good too. (I wrote parts of it).

I have 3 papers in mathematics (far from being groundbreaking research).
2 in abstract algebra and 1 in combinatorial mathematics. But Wiliams College probably doesn't consider additional material.

If you didn't know, many college professors don't have the time to write you a recommendation, so they often ask you to write a template and they'll change whatever is necessary and sign it.

I don't see why that's unfair. Everyone does that in college and I'm sure all the admission officers know that since they probably asked professors for recs sometime in their career. Also, it's not like you can lie in what you write.

I think you have a good chance. However i think your extracurriculars may be a bit shallow. Do you have any other passion other than Maths? What about your SAT II's...post your scores on these as well

My SAT 2 score is really low. Math 2- 740 Physics-720.

I do not have any passions except mathematics and reading. I have no knowledge of college-level physics etc. The only other interest I have is literature and (introductory, as of yet) western philosophy. However, I have never taken any college courses in these fields either.
No college/ university in my town has facilities for high school students to take any courses.

By the way, does additional material help a bit for getting into Williams College?

Yes, since math is your passion and all you really have to show, definitely show it! Williams is unusual in that it asks for supplemental material early to send it to departments for review.

If I were you, I would write about Lit or Phil to show you can think past math.
