Chances? My first time posting

I'm thinking about applying to UVA, Lehigh University, Bucknell University, Cornell U (as a reach), RPI, URI (safety) and possibly Carnegie Mellon. I'm looking into bioengineering/biomedical engineering.

SAT Total: 2120
Critical Reading: 630
Math: 790
Writing: 700

Unweighted GPA: 3.8
All honors classes, except for one AP

Will be a 12 time varsity athlete in cross country, indoor track, and outdoor track.
Also, Cross Country Team Captain.

Not sure what else I should include...

Boston University and University of Rochester. Best of luck!

The thing about BU, is I really don’t want to go to school in the city.

Then look at BC, it’s a bit outside Boston (but with subway access to the city). UVA and Cornell seem like the tougher ones, I’d expect you to get into most of the others

Cal Polytech SLO. Not sure what kind of neighborhood it’s in and how big it is.

Unfortunately, Schools on the west coast are kind of not an option for me…

You currently have a very good list of schools on your list. Good luck!

For you, URI is an extreme safety. They may even give you a full ride.

Lehigh-match
for cornell I think it require SATII too

8/10 is my say.

Yes, I know about URI. The reason I’m including it, is because it’s my state school.

And I will be taking SAT II’s in the fall. I wanted to take them in june but missed out on the deadlines unfortunately.

Bump, any other opinions on UVA? After researching it a bit more, it looks like a very good school for me.

And about the AP’s, I signed up for 5 my senior year, but with the way my school does scheduling, I’d be lucky to get into 2 or 3.

Is there anything else I could include on this that you think could raise my chances?

include your EC lots of schools like to see that you are a well rounded person and participate in other activities, but there is such thing as too many EC’s. I would say you have a good chance at most of the schools on your list. I am looking at similar schools please chance me.
