So here is my situation.

I took a really hard math class, which I was forced to take to graduate. It is a part 2 class and I didn't take part 1, so it was really difficult. I studied my butt off for it and barely passed that class. Now I didn't focus as much on my Econ final, which was on the same day as the Math final since I had a B- in the class and thought I knew the material. I am meeting with my advisor tomorrow to first see if there is anyway her or the teacher can show some kind of compassion for my situation. Because I am already into a Grad school, accepted as a TA, and have an internship in the summer. If I have to take a class in the summer or fall, it is basically going to ruin me because i might not get into grad school then, my internship would be ruined and I would be stuck. So what are my chances of getting my grade changed? Because my midterm I got a B-, and my homework I got a B-. I've had teachers move weight or drop tests all together. Shouldn't professors be sympathetic a little bit? Also how should I approach my advisor and teacher? Thanks
