well, I sent some of my stats to my ND admissions counselor -- hopefully he will be able to give me a good idea of what necessary to be part of the fighting irish class of '12</p>

<p>danbrenn--but even if u applied EA, you still could have taken the ACT and then sent them your updated scores showing them you're interested in ND so much that you'll take another standardized test that all high-schoolers hate and send them your scores with a letter of interest attached... to me that seems better then just sending your ACT and SAT scores together RD... this scenario is assuming u perfected the essay in time for EA</p>
<p>I didn't get my scores until late December, so it wouldn't have worked for me. If you have time to take it early enough though, then yeah that would have worked out.</p>
<p>Apply early, it will only give you an advantage, no disadvantage to showing interest and committing yourself to Notre Dame (I'm not sure if it is restricted or unrestricted but it doesn't hurt if its your first choice).</p>
