<p>Hello : )
I really want to go to Northeastern University, but I am very discouraged about getting in, and I just want to know that I may not have to be?
So heres about me:
I come from a small town in upstate new york. im white. MY GPA is 3.2ish and im ranked 28/148 of my senior class.</p>

<p>MY SAT scores:
Reading 490
Math 610
Writing 560</p>

<p>My recommendation letter is from a parent of a past NEu student if that helps?
As far as my extracurriculars go:
i did shakespeare & company grades-9,10
band-9-12
soccer-12
NHS-12</p>

<p>I also mentor a handicapped girl named Annie every other day. </p>

<p>So based on what you know now..what are my chances roughly? :/</p>

<p>** Also, I plan to major in accounting at NEU</p>

<p>Hi john, unfortunatley neu is a big reach for you. You fall well below the average stats and the business school is really competitive. It doesn’t hurt to apply but don’t expect anything positive. Good luck with your search.</p>

<p>3.2 Unweighted?</p>

<p>Your stats are relatively weak. Try to boost up that SAT if you can, and I would get the rec from an academic teacher that knows you well (if any are available).</p>

<p>I’d have to agree with Northeasternkid’s comment.</p>

<p>Unfortunately, I’d also have to agree with Arctic92 and Northeasternkid’s comment. If you can increase your SAT score you’ll have a better chance, but as of now…I’d say it’s a reach for you.</p>
