Is this school a match for me?

For the record, I think chance threads are fairly useless. I'd say you have a shot, but what do I know anyway?

There's roughly a 17% acceptance rate at WashU (based off of the new princeton review- 3800 people accepted out of over 22000 applicants, which makes sense considering their yield).

Any school with an acceptance rate <20% is a reach for anyone, unless you're something like a triple legacy with buildings named after your family. I personally wouldn't go around calling WashU a match for anyone.

Great chance, I'd say. You volunteer a lot, so if you want to do something in public service or whatever, it would make you seem very genuine. Great ACT by the way.
