Do I have a good start? What should I do to boost my chances?

Do you have a nomination yet? If you do you look like you have superior academic talent in comparison to the average candidate. Great chance if you can display your leadership in apps and interviews.

Actually I have not started the application process yet because I am currently a first semester junior, but I will start my file as soon as the online candidate questionnaire allows applications for the class of 2014. So the answer to your question is no I do not have a nomination. Thanks for the speedy response though, I didn't expect a reply within two minutes of posting.

If you're going to get responses it's going to be when your profile is at the top of the board and I am a candidate for the class of 2013 so I was intrigued. Considering you are a junior you are well on track, focus on showing leadership in and out of sports. Well above average grades/scores GOOD LUCK

Good luck to you too!
