Chances of acceptance

<p>This upcoming school year I will be a senior in IB
Female, hispanic
Unweighted GPA: 3.3846
Weighted GPA: 4.0000
UF Weighted GPA: 3.8525
ACT composite score: 27
I have tons of extracurriculars such as secretary of Spanish National Honors Society and Book club, member of the volleyball team, member of countless clubs, etc</p>

<p>By the end of summer I will have completed at least 150 community service hours and have calculated that if I get straight A's next semester (which I strongly intend on getting) my UF GPA will raise to 4.0025</p>

<p>Also planning to take the SAT and retake the ACT in fall</p>

<p>What are my chances of acceptance? Please help!</p>

<p>Your GPA is a little low; even if you did raise your UF GPA up to 4.0 you need to keep in mind that the middle 50% of the recently admitted freshman class had an average GPA of 4.3 and an average ACT of 30. Their average SAT was 1967 so you need to aim for that as well.</p>

<p>So you definitely need to get straight A grades if possible. You ECs are ok, but your GPA and ACT scores need work.</p>

I know my GPA and test score is lower than average but that was my first time taking the test and I defiantly plan on improving!</p>
