Chances of acceptance?

So, I have quite a complicated past with my high school career. I nearly failed math in 10th grade, but am now in 12th grade, and taking two math classes (willingly), and am doing wonderfully in both. My SAT scores are a little low... CR-590 M-480, and W-530. My current GPA is about and 88%, and my class rank is #7 (out of 65 lol). I am applying for pre-pharmacy, and have sent in an early decision application.

Their scores have been going up, and you’re a little on the low side. Definitely write a supplemental essay if possible, explaining why “UB.” Visit if you can, and meet with Admissions. One of my kids was also on the low side, and was accepted a few years ago so you never know. I guess that you do have a chance, but it’s not a sure thing.

I think that it shows that you are willing to challenge yourself by enrolling in not only one but two math classes to try to get a better understanding in the subject. Your SATs are kinda low but their not the worst that I have heard of. Your GPA is not bad, but not very high. Explain yourself on the application and tell your story the best you can.I have heard the Pre-pharm program is a more difficult major to get in, but you have a chance of acceptance. GOOD LUCK and I really hope you get in!!
