I recently applied to Auburn mid-October, and it is my top choice school. I have a 3.55 GPA, lower SAT and ACT scores (1090 and 21), but I have tons of volunteer experience, like a summer internship at a non-profit, a few mission trips to places like Jamaica, as well as U.S. hurricane devastation areas, and I put all of this on a resume that I sent in to the office of undergraduate admissions. My mom is an alumni, and was Ms. Fall Rush the year she graduated. I spent about two weeks writing my essays, as well as having 3 teachers review them to help me fix any mistakes. My academics aren’t impressive, but I do think the resume I sent in, as well as my mom being alumni, and my essays have increased my chances. Do I have a good chance of getting in?
