I just graduated high school and am taking a gap year because of some family issues. I’m out of state and used to have a great GPA and many EC’s, however because of extenuating family circumstances in my junior and senior year I couldn’t focus on school as much. I am now applying to schools to go to after my gap year and am wondering what my chances are to get into Oregon, OR into Oregon State (if anyone is familiar with both that would
be very helpful)
GPA: 85 or a 3.0
ACT: 29 (maybe can get higher with a retake).
EC’s: Many volunteering, community service, and community leadership positions. As well as some jobs.
Recommendations: Can definitely secure some great recs from my counselor and teachers.
