Hello, I plan on attempting to apply for transfer to Georgetown this coming spring, so I'd like to have just a basic idea of where I stand. I'll only offer a brief background:

Current College

New York University, College of Arts and Sciences

-Major: International Relations
-Minor: Economic Policy
-GPA: 3.86

Class Breakdown:

International Politics: A
Macroeconomics: A-
Elementary French II: A-
Intensive Intermediate French: A
Middle Eastern Studies: A-
Writing the Essay: A-
Historical Revisionism: A
Astronomy (Quarks to Cosmos): A

This fall semester I'll be taking:

Microeconomics
International Law
Elementary Arabic I
Human Genetics

College ECs

-NYU Economics Club, Executive Outreach Coordinator
-College Libertarians, Treasurer
-Model UN

Jobs/Internships

-NYU Law School (10 hours/week), Employee at Office of Graduate Affairs
-Panera Bread (summer parttime), Customer Associate
-PeaceCorps (10 hours/week), Internship for local outreach

High School

-GPA: 3.60
-SAT: 2220 superscored, 690R 790M 740W

Bunch of ECs I don't feel like listing.

I come from Eastern Pennsylvania, I'm white, male, and my mom makes ~$30k/year (parents divorced).

Right now NYU gives me $50k/year in grants, so obviously if Georgetown doesn't match I won't be going. I just want to be in a better international affairs program, and be in DC. I'd major in Georgetown's International Political Economy concentration.

Thanks.
