i think i read that as long as you final transcript isn't ridiculously lower than what you have got in the past, you needn't worry. what is your gpa this semester vs semesters past?

I don't think a 90 average is anything to complain about.

My high school also graded based out of 100. The GPA stuff just never made sense to me at a high school level when most everything can be summed up neatly due to multiple choice, true/false, etc.

Topics like these make me laugh so hard. Stop worrying about a 30 point drop in one subject, look at my grades:

Last year:

English H - A-
AP USH - B+
AP Calc - A+
AP Chem - A+
Phys H - A
Span 4 H - A

This year:
[quote]
AP English - B-
AP Spanish - C
AP Econ - B+
AP Calc - B+
AP Physics - B
AP Env - B - C

If they send me a letter asking why I dropped so much, I'll just make some BS excuse about taking up a hard course load, picking up roller hockey, and spending more time helping out at church, etc. You've proved yourself already by getting in, man. Chill.

Of course, irony would slap me in the face if I get rescinded.

I don't think Dartmouth even considers rescinding if only one class drops. Anyway, if they do you should just have your counselor explain the new teacher situation.
