I just applied today to 3 schools at Rutgers University (New Brunswick campus):
College of Nursing
School of Arts and Sciences
School of Business

GPA of 93. Grade trend improved from 90 freshman year to 94 soph year to 95.5 junior year. Rank is 13% of graduating class.
My extracurricular activities aren't that impressive... I participated in Spring/Winter track&field for two years and joined a few clubs here and there.

Oh and I only got a 1710 on the SAT: 500-Critical reading, 610-Math & 600-Writing... I'm awaiting on my scores that I took on November 5th and I'm really hoping that my critical reading went up

You’ll probably get into SAS. Nursing and Business are a bit more competitive but you have a chance. Good Luck :)

Thanks, I need it! Anyone else? Feedback?!
And what does ‘bump’ mean? (obv. I’m a newbie) I’ve seen that comment on here a few times already.

Bumps means your “bumping” your post back up to pg 1 so it has more cjances of being viewes

SAS best chance
Business, reach.

Nursing far far far reach

Good luck!

Do you guys know the range of SAT scores/gpa needed for the college of nursing (for both new Brunswick and Newark)?

I’m not sure honestly. But I know people who have gotten waitedlisted with like a 3.7 GPA and over 2000 SAT score. It’s tough because it’s small. And it is even harder to stay in the program. After they put you through hell for the two years, then you actually have to get into the program, which I heard only has like 50 seats. Newark should be a bit easier to get into.
