Chances of getting accepted to Northwestern...

I'm pretty sure I'm on the lower end of the application pool, but I wanted a second opinion!

GPA: 4.0 (weighted); 3.6 (unweighted)
SAT: composite 2150(superscored; 2080 is my highest for one test) math 740, writing 730, reading 680
I am taking the following subject tests in October and hope to score 700+ on each: Literature, Spanish, Math II
APs: AP U.S. History, AP Chemistry, AP English, AP Spanish, AP Calculus.

EC's:
Varsity(spring) and club(summer and fall) crew - 3 years
---> I could not do club crew this summer and fall because I have a job that takes up a lot of my time, but plan to do varsity crew in the spring.

Community Service Club all 4 years; Vice President junior and senior year
---> Many separate community service activites are tied in with this.
Student Leaders all 4 years
National Honor Society junior and senior year

Also, I need help deciding on what will better my chances...
I am retaking my SATs in December to send in to my RD schools
So, I can't decide whether to apply ED to Northwestern with my current score and without 7th semester grades, or apply regular with an improved SAT score and 7th semester grades.

Help and responses are highly appreciated :)

anyone? :(

Sorry, nobody hangs out here in the summer. If NU is your first choice, I would apply ED and submit a mid-progress report of your grades (create your own if necessary and have your teachers sign it). Keep your grades up just in case you get deferred and they want to see final grades. I heard holding out for grades is the most common reason for deferrals (at least at NU) if the rest of your app is good otherwise.

Make sure your essays and teacher recs are excellent. To get good recs, write a letter to the teacher explaining the traits about yourself you’d like mentioned (keeping in mind your overall application message) and give examples to remind them. Be sure to remind them how important their letter is to you so they’ll put in more effort. At NU, essays and recs are highly valued. If you’re borderline, they’re even more important.

thank you so much!
