Chances of getting ED acceptance recinded?

I just recently got accepted into Cornell University for ED. However, looking at my grades, I might end up with a C (and another B). For reference, I am a high school senior with a current course load of 6 AP classes and a Micro class at my community college–the Micro class is the one I might get a C in. What are the chances that Cornell rescinds my acceptances with those grades?

I’d say zero but after your grade is final, email your AO and ask if you have any concern.

Ps congrats on your acceptance.

I would not email your AO for one C.

The paper you signed will outline specifically what could get your acceptance rescinded.

The Cornell language is a little murky but I absolutely think you will be fine.

One “C” should be fine. A counselor once told me that someone was rescinded from their college because he failed an English class, which left him with only 3.5 years of English when the admissions required 4 years of English. Although, perhaps he could have retaken it at community college, but she said the offer was rescinded.

kids get straight Cs with some Ds sprinkled in senior year and don’t get rescinded from elite schools. Happens all the time

D’s can be a problem at some colleges.
